The Maxa 5000ER can be used for running power tools or as home stanby power. It has dependable electronic ignition for easier starting and cast iron sleeves to protect the engine. There is an optional wheel and handle kit to make the unit easier to move around. It has a 10 HP Tecumseh engine that provides sustained wattage of 5000 watts and surge of 6250 watts. The portable generator can run up to six hours at 50% load on the 5 gallon fuel tank.

The top of the line of the Coleman Premium Series, the Maxa 5000ER+ has the same features as the Maxa 5000ER (reliable electronic ignition, cast iron sleeves for engine protection, optional wheel and handle portability kit, 6250 watts surge and 5000 watts running power, 5 gallon fuel tank to run 6 hours at 50% load). The Maxa 5000ER+ portable generator also has two 120 volt outlets and one 120/250 volt twistlock outlet with circuit breaker protection.

Coleman accessories are available in stores and also online. Both portable generators include steel legs, mounting hardware and a 1 year limited warranty on all parts. Options include covers, oil filters air filters and spark arrestors. There are also 2 available portibility kits; the basic kit has one easy grip handle and 2 8" wheels, the premium kit has two easy grip handles and 2 8" pheumatic wheels. Pheumatic wheels make the unit much easier to roll and turn so it can be positioned exactly where you want it. A tune-up kit with oil filter, air filter, 2 spark plugs and wrench is available for maintenance.
